Bastien – Medical Science Liaison
Designing and innovating while respecting animal welfare — these are Bastien’s guiding principles. Passionate about companion animals from a young age, he pursued a university education in medical bioengineering before joining Novetech Surgery in February 2019. Just a few months later, a CIFRE PhD project was launched in collaboration with VetAgro Sup, the Laboratory of Biomechanics and Impact Mechanics, and Novetech Surgery. Since December 2023, Bastien has held a PhD in Biomechanics. His research focused on developing a new tibial fixation implant for synthetic cranial cruciate ligament reconstruction — a topic at the core of the innovative surgical solutions we are developing.
Bastien is regularly present in the operating room alongside the veterinary surgeons to observe the preoperative reality in the development of our new products and imagine solutions that are best suited to the needs of our customers.
Before using any of our implants, you can be sure that Bastien’s work have enabled us to provide all the necessary scientific validation for the marketing of each of our products.
His field of action also extends to the writing of scientific articles. He can provide you with all the help you need to promote and communicate your clinical research work to the scientific community.
